Leadership West trains the present and future leaders of western Maricopa County through a series of intensive monthly workshops on subjects ranging from government, education and transportation to health and human services and public safety. Each year only about 25 students are chosen through a competitive selection process.
Leadership West is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to promoting opportunities for quality informed leadership in western Maricopa County.
It is directed toward individuals with a stake in the future of the West Valley and who are committed to expanding their leadership roles within their community.
WESTMARC and the Tri-City West Chamber of Commerce provided the impetus to establish Leadership West and continue to be active partners in the program.
