Best of the West Awards

Entries are being sought for the 12th Annual "Best of the West" Awards program, presented by WESTMARC and Cox Communications with support from co-sponsors APS and The Arizona Republic. The "Best of the West" Awards recognize contributions to the image, lifestyle and economic development of Western Maricopa County. Each entry in the "Best of the West" Awards competition will be judged on its ability to represent what its contribution has added to Western Maricopa County in a number of categories. 1/12/04 - Jack Lunsford Named President & CEO of WESTMARC

The Westmarc Executive Committee has selected longtime community college Director of Governmental Affairs, Jack Lunsford – one of the original founders of the group that preceded WESTMARC -- as its new president. He fills the vacancy left by Diane McCarthy, who left after 11 years to run the Arizona State University Alumni Association.
