Huge THANK YOU to Credit Union West for sponsoring the GeoTour!

West Valley STEAMpunk GeoTour

WESTMARC has created Arizona’s FIRST GeoTour right here in the West Valley!  This project began as an initiative to get people to explore the West Valley stemming from the AZ SciTech Festival.  From there, it blossomed into the West Valley STEAMpunk GeoTour!  Why STEAMpunk, you ask?  This GeoTour was designed to highlight the STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) assets in the West Valley.  From Buckeye to Peoria, from Banner Del E Webb Hospital to Tres Rios Nature Preserve, participants will get a firsthand look at the amazing businesses that call the West Valley home.

What is Geocaching?

Geocaching is modern day treasure hunting using a GPS enabled device. Someone hides a geocache (container), uploads coordinates online, and anyone can go find the geocache and sign the log book inside.  Click here for a printable brochure on how to get started!

A GeoTour is a collection of geocaches meant to take people on a “tour” of an area or specific landmarks.
