Alexandra Adams is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of San Diego and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona. Currently, she is a Senior Director on the Strategy & Growth team at Banner Health, leading regional analysis and business case development for acute care delivery and market growth projects. Her career has focused on the healthcare sector, including past roles in market growth and development at Blue Shield of California and University of Arizona Health Network (now part of Banner Health). She is actively involved in the community serving in leadership roles for The Junior League of Phoenix and The Shoebox Project.

Gene Cavallo

Senior Vice President, Behavioral Health

Gene Cavallo is the Senior Vice President of Behavioral Health Services for Valleywise Health, which operates the 126-bed Desert Vista Behavioral Health Center in Mesa, the 93-bed Behavioral Health Center in Phoenix, the 192-bed Behavioral Health Center in Maryvale, and numerous outpatient behavioral health programs. He is a member of the Behavioral Health Constituency Group of the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association (AzHHA).

A native of Phoenix, Gene has spent his entire professional career of more than 35 years working in the behavioral health field here in the State of Arizona. Prior to the nearly 19 years in his current position at Valleywise Health, Gene worked in a variety of direct care and administrative capacities at both the provider and payor level since 1987. Gene is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame and Arizona State University.

Michele Pino

Michele Pino has been a commercial and site selection specialist with Land Advisors Organization since 2006. She helps school districts, solar developers, public entities, and hospitals, medical and commercial users plan strategic location decisions.

She brings more than 16 years of statewide experience in economic development to her role at Land Advisors Organization. She was the executive director of the Arizona State University Research Park, where she worked on real estate development and business attraction. She also served eight years in State Government at the Arizona Department of Commerce as director of small business development and director of national business development. There, working with local municipalities, she assisted corporate entities in their site location decisions statewide.

Michele is a certified economic developer and a licensed real estate associate. She is a member of the Arizona Association of School Business Officials, and a board member of WESTMARC and Valley Partnership.

Michele holds a master’s degree in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and undergraduate degrees from the University of Arizona: a B.A. in Russian/political science and a B.S. in business.

Hans Driessnack

Hans Driessnack is Chief Executive Officer of Abrazo West Campus, a 216-bed Level I Trauma Center and Primary Plus Stroke Center in Goodyear, Arizona. He is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in operational leadership in acute care hospitals and ambulatory services.

Hans joined the Abrazo Health network in November 2021. Known as a servant leader with a focus on empowering staff for excellence, and he provides strategic and operational oversight of Abrazo West Campus as it continues its growth in providing advanced medical care for the West Valley community.

In addition to its trauma and stroke programs, Abrazo West Campus provides orthopedics, spine, cardiology, general surgery, maternity and other services. It is also a teaching hospital, with doctors from Abrazo’s emergency medicine, general surgery and internal medicine residency programs completing rotations at Abrazo West. Hans is also leading planning and development of a future Abrazo medical campus and acute care hospital in Buckeye, Arizona.

Prior to arriving in Arizona, Hans served as Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Medical Center, a 222-bed regional trauma center in Springdale, Ark. During his tenure with Northwest he led the hospital through successful growth of services and quality initiatives including improved patient experience, clinical excellence and employee engagement. He also served as Chief Operations Officer at Heartland Medical Center in Marion, Ill., as Chief Operations Officer at Galesburg Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, Ill., and in various administrative positions with Lovelace Medical Center and Lovelace Westside Hospital in Albuquerque, NM.

Active in the community and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Driessnack earned a Masters of Business Administration from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management/German from the University of Alabama.

Jaime Lyn Gonzales

For over 20 years, Jaime has driven organizations forward by building strong relationships with mutually beneficial connections, exceeding both business and community goals. As a proud native of the West Valley, she brings vast regional expertise to the City of Avondale and is passionate about sharing why it is 'the place to be.' With experience across industries and sectors, including private development, higher education, workforce development, and community relations, she is a seasoned professional who loves to help businesses and communities thrive.

Her formal education mirrors her diverse interests. She received a full ride academic scholarship to Arizona State University graduating with a B.S. in Economics and Certificate of International Business. She returned to ASU a few years later to earn her graduate degree in Social Justice and Human Rights.

Focused on economic and social development across distinct communities, locally and globally, Jaime’s innovative efforts have been recognized by valley municipalities, school districts, universities, developers, nonprofits, the Clinton Global Initiatives University, Arizona State University's Innovation Challenge, The Arizona We Want Institute, WESTMARC, and Leadership West. She was also named one of Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 leaders. In addition, Jaime serves the region through volunteerism, nonprofit boards, and community leadership programs.

In her free time, you’ll find Jaime with her husband and two young sons. They plan to see the world together and experience unique cultures and food along the way. Books, bikes, baseball, and the beach are usually part of their adventures.
