Your Legislators:

Brian was born and raised in Yuma, Arizona, part of a family with roots that go back six generations. His ancestors became American citizens through the Gadsden Purchase—when the border crossed them, not the other way around. Growing up in a working-class household, Brian saw firsthand what it meant to stretch a paycheck, rely on public schools, and navigate a system that too often left rural families behind.
He knows how it feels when leaders in far-off chambers make decisions that don’t reflect the realities on the ground. That’s why, when he entered public service, he made a promise to put communities like his first. At a time when rural voices are often overlooked, Brian is standing up to make sure every family has a seat at the table.

Michael Carbone represents Legislative District 25, which includes Yuma County and the western part of Maricopa County. It is one of largest agriculture districts in Arizona and produces 90% of America’s leafy greens, along with being home to farming, dairy, cotton, and one of the largest egg producers in the world.
He also represents the largest nuclear reactor in the United States which produces a majority of the state’s electricity and excess power that is sold to California. In addition to his district, he also serves the Yuma Proving Grounds U.S. Marine Base which just opened a low level space launching pad, the Kore Power Lithium Ion Battery Plant, and Fortescue’s Hydrogen Plant.

Senator Frank Carroll has been a leading voice on some of Arizona’s most important issues, including protecting private property rights, safeguarding Arizona from foreign adversarial nations, securing critical infrastructure, strengthening election integrity, and pushing back against government overreach. He has also been a fierce advocate for strengthening the relationship between Arizona, the United States, and Taiwan, recognizing Taiwan as both a trusted ally and a critical economic partner.
Through his work in the Legislature, Carroll has played a key role in enhancing Arizona’s partnership with Taiwan, fostering trade and economic opportunities that have led to Taiwan becoming Arizona’s sixth-largest export market. His efforts have helped foster a stronger economic relationship that continues to boost Arizona’s economy, attract investment, and reinforce strategic ties between Arizona and one of America’s strongest allies in the Indo-Pacific region.
Born and raised in Chicago, Senator Carroll began his career as a service mechanic for a forklift and construction equipment dealer. As electronics and computer technologies transformed the transportation industry, he transitioned into the vehicle testing and diagnostics field, working for a vehicle test equipment manufacturer during the rapid advancement of computer-controlled vehicle systems.
As a certified subject matter expert, Carroll trained service technicians in vehicle computer management systems, emissions systems and their environmental impact, vehicle safety technologies, electric vehicle systems, and advanced vehicle diagnostics and testing. After concluding his training career, he spent several years working in the tourism industry, traveling throughout the western United States and building relationships with communities and visitors across the region.

I joined United States Air Force just two months after high school graduation and for the next 20 years, my family and I moved around the U.S. and even to Europe. What we learned during those two decades are that some things — including the values this country was founded upon — are worth risking everything for. I still believe that. I have spent most of my life fighting for our country. I’ve fought for my career and the careers of thousands of others when the military tried to kick us out for not taking an illegally-mandated shot. And I’ve even fought my way through obstacles as a contestant on American Ninja Warrior. I’m not afraid of a fight.
I've continued to keep fighting against those who attempt to shred the economic, constitutional and moral fabric that makes up our country and state. We need a return to basic constitutional principles — not those of special interests. We need lawmakers the way they used to be — servants from outside the world of politics who fulfill their civic duties, then return to their families and first careers. I still dream that such things are possible and I still fight for a day when that dream is a reality. As your state representative in Arizona’s 25th legislative district I fight for you every day.

Senator Steve Montenegro was first elected to the Arizona Legislature in November of 2008. He served in the House of Representatives until January 2017, holding several positions including Speaker Pro-Tempore, Committee Chairman, and House Majority Leader for the 52nd Legislature (2015-2016). He is currently in his first term of the Arizona Senate. He is the Vice-Chair of the Education Committee and serves on the Appropriations and Health and Human Services Committees.
An award-winning champion of families, taxpayers, and our Constitutional liberties, Steve continues to focus on issues including education, government transparency, protecting our Second Amendment rights, agriculture, water, border security, fiscal responsibility, and taking care of our veterans and military presence here in Arizona. He was the Primary Sponsor of the American Civics Act requiring Arizona’s High School students to pass the same civics test required of newly naturalized citizens, and was awarded Legislator of the Year by the Arizona Republican Party in 2015.
Mr. Montenegro arrived in the U.S. from El Salvador when he was five when his family legally immigrated to the United States. He is a District Representative in the office of Congressman Trent Franks and serves as an Assistant Pastor at Surprise Apostolic Church in Surprise, AZ. He was previously a teacher at Arizona Charter Academy and Superior School in Surprise, Arizona.
He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and also holds an Associate of Arts in Theology. Senator Montenegro interrupted his studies toward a law degree for this opportunity at public service. He and his wife Melissa were married in 2009 and have a little girl, Adelynn. On those rare occasions where he has some free time, he enjoys reading, playing the piano, golf, and running.

As a lifelong resident of Yuma and the daughter of a mother who immigrated from Mexico seeking a better life, I understand the values that bind our community: faith, family, hard work, and service. My father, a proud Texan and Vietnam veteran, instilled in me a deep respect for our country and the importance of giving back.
Since being elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2022, I’ve dedicated myself to addressing the unique needs of our district. From championing agricultural initiatives that support our local farmers to advocating for educational policies that empower parents and protect our children’s futures, my focus has always been on delivering results that matter to Yuma families.
In 2023, I sponsored numerous bills to support our agricultural economy, update our infrastructure, and improve Arizona’s healthcare. I’ve also been a steadfast supporter of parental rights in education and have worked to increase opportunities for our veterans.
As we look toward the future, I remain committed to policies that uphold our freedoms, strengthen our economy, and preserve the way of life we cherish in Yuma County, Pima County, and Goodyear.
